Running Selenium and Headless Chrome on AWS Lambda
Clay Smith

Great write up. I wouldn’t be surprised if it took forever to get Lambdium working — deploying packages over and over to Lambda is super boring. LambCI’s docker-lambda helps, but its not always enough. You’re right, though. It’s indeed an interesting time in this space. I can’t wait to be able to run Nightwatch-based integration tests all at once instead of the current status-quo of them taking forever.

In case it helps you with Lambdium in the future, I wanted to point out that if you deploy your Lambda function with the deployment package in S3, the package’s size limit increases dramatically — technically 250MB! Great news as we try to cram more binaries into our deployment packages to do more and more absurd things.
