People are unpleasant because they can’t cope with problems they have. We all have problems, sometimes it’s hard to deal with them. It’s still no excuse, but I felt it was good to put it out there.

Everyone has difficult situations that they go through and some are better at dealing with them than others. We all have our little rituals for when things are getting rough, maybe we listen to some music, workout, play an instrument, talk to a friend or loved one, go for a walk, etc. Those are all good outlets, nobody else gets harmed.

There are bad outlets as well, one of which is unfolding your frustrations at other people. This can happen in real life, but it can also happen online, which is so much easier because it’s anonymous.

It’s hard sometimes to put content online, to put yourself out there. It’s easy to be unpleasant to somebody else behind the safety of a screen. If you find these type of people remember that, while bad, it’s a way for them to deal with their problems. Don’t worry about it, keep moving on.

Anyway, those were some of my thoughts on dealing with unpleasant people online. What do you think? Let me know.

The comic for this thought is here!
