Thoughts on: Seeing your mistakes in other people

I know this sounds weird, let me explain.

I have bad habits and make mistakes and sometimes the way I realize about them is when I see somebody else do them. When this happens I either think “wow, I do that too” or it gives me more motivation to stop. It’s odd, but I feel like I can’t be the only one.

Sometimes it’s hard to catch ourselves making mistakes, but it’s easy to catch others. We can take two things out of this:

  • Let’s be kind to others, sometimes we realize our own mistakes until we see somebody else make them.
  • If we’ll be aware of our mistakes when we see them in other people, then let’s be aware of our surroundings. Also, find that sweet spot between being kind to yourself, but strict enough so that you can get better.

Anyway, I think there’s not much I have left to write about this. What do you think? Does it happen to you as well? Let me know!

The comic for this thought is here!
