I like this idea.

Taking the “apps could be like web” thought a bit further: why is there even a need to build a native app? The main goal for developers is that people use their service repeatedly. If it’s a good service they found through some link, they will bookmark it and come back. To get the best UX the platforms could built an ecosystem that provides a great interface for all services that are used on it. Kinda like Google Now or the new Apple Notifications.
