Uhhh, of course. Look throughout American History. MLK and Civil Rights is one of many.
Chris Cook

Chris, nope, MLK, Ella Baker, Thurgood Marshall and Fannie Lou Hamer faced much more challenging circumstances than people face today, yet managed to lead campaigns that magentized the population at large behind their agenda. They did this by putting forth an affirmative vision of what they wanted and did not focus on inquisitions into the microaggressions of white people who were not in positions of power. They focused on structures of power and how to move past them towards emancipation, not on one-upping indiviudals which is much easier than confronting structures of power.
