• Start with Acrylic paint:-
For those, who are the beginner in oil painting, he stated to start your oil painting with an acrylic paint because acrylic dries quickly. He further added that when you use oil as paint, then it will take some time to dry, but acrylic paints can quicken your work with your canvas.

• Make sure that you have a good lighting:-
Mark Marcula Stauffer stated that the importance of good lighting is that, it brings out the color more and also lessens the strain on your eyes.

• Good ventilation is also necessary:-

Proper ventilation is necessary while doing oil painting, because some of the chemicals that are used in oil painting are toxic which can impact your health. He further added to consider using a water soluble oil paint instead because this can be diluted with water and eliminating the need for other solvents.

Being an expert, he stated to ensure that each layer of your oil painting should have higher oil content than the ones below, while doing oil painting, because this will reduce the chance of your paint to get crack.

Oils brushes are made longer, so that you can paint further away from the canvas. Therefore, hold the brush from the middle or from the end. Mark Marcula Stauffer further added that while doing oil painting, opt for Hog hair paint brush over a cheaper brush, because cheaper brush can easily shed their bristles.

He further added to develop the habit of a clean working environment as a clean and an organize environment makes a better working place, which result in designing a nice canvas.
