20 favorite songs of 2019
Same as just about everyone else on the planet, I took some time over the holiday to look back at 2019. It was a pretty surreal experience. I started a company that’s seeing crazy growth before we’ve even launched our Beta, married my high school sweetheart, moved from LA to NYC, and rescued a dog named Norma. All new experiences.
I also did one old and familiar thing: I listened to a ton of great music. Some things never change, and music being a bedrock of life is one of them.
Below is a playlist of my favorite tracks of the year. Just by the nature of my work at Quadio, I’ve been listening to a ton of amazing, undiscovered college-aged musicians, but there are other, more established artists on the list as well. Give them all a listen, and here’s hoping your 2020 (and mine) finds time and space for the music to keep playing.
