Why I Voted for Donald Trump after Voting for Obama Twice
I voted for Obama twice. Hardly breaking news. In recent decades, African Americans have overwhelmingly supported the Democratic nominee. Obama’s rise was both historic and inspiring. His message of “hope” and “change” resignated with millions of Americans. Republican candidates John McCain and Mitt Romney were no match for the diety-like figure. Perhaps only Martin Luther King Jr. himself could’ve defeated Obama in 2008 and 2012.
If you believe the rhetoric of President Obama and the Democrats, then you may think we’re in the midst of a massive economic recovery.
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
According to an article from the New York Post:
“President Obama is the only president since Herbert Hoover to not have guided the US economy to 3 percent growth in any year he was in office.”
Hardly a recovery to write home about.
A closer look at the economy after eight years of President Obama shows that more people are on Government Assistance, Healthcare premiums have increased, and Violent Crime has increased. Just to name a few. Certainly not change for the better.
Donald Trump Offers Real Change
Most Presidents are just figureheads. When a Presidential Candidate runs for office, they often receive financial backing from numerous wealthy donors. It would be naive to think those donor don’t want something in return. Hillary Clinton had many rich donors — including the little-known Hungarian-American Billionaire Investor, George Soros, who led the charge for Clinton in an attempt to defeat Donald Trump.
George Soros has his own agenda, and it’s not necessarily the agenda of the American people. The lobbyist and Washington Elites are against Trump because they can’t control him. He differs from most Presidential Candidates because he mostly self financed his campaign . He’s not beholden to special interest or powerful foreign groups that often control more US policy than the average American citizen may realize. His Nationalist plan pulls us out of our current Globalist system. His “American First” pledge will cut taxes for middle class families and small business owners. His plan to cut the corporate taxe rate to 15 percent from the current 35 percent rate will help spur business growth. It will allow companies to be more competitive and keep our jobs from going overseas.
The narrative that Trump ran for office to either enrich himself or destroy America is hogwash. He could easily make more money by not being President. It’s mind-boggling that the media would suggest he has some ulterior motive other than prosperity for Americans
The Democrats Don’t Have a Plan to Fix the Inner-Cities
During the second Presidential debate Trump laid blame on Clinton and the Democrats for failing the inner-cities. They’ve been in charge of the inner-cities for decades with not much show for their control. What’s her plan for the inner-city . Gun control? It’s the same tired story that should be put to bed. It hasn’t worked. Just ask Chicago.
Trumps plan is to bring back manufacturing Jobs back to the city and get people off Government assistance. The Democrats don’t think we have the ability to control our own lives.
Don’t worry. Nancy Pelosi to rescue?
Excuse me for a minute while I go barf.
The Left Wing Media Bias is the Biggest Reason I Supported Trump
Last year, I traveled through the Northeastern part on the United States. I spent considerable amounts of time in Maine, New Hampshire, Western New York , Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. My time in those areas ultimately changed my opinion and beliefs not only about the people in the area but about conservatism.
During the first half of the 2016 Presidential election, I blindly followed the Mainstream media rhetoric which demonized Trump and praised Hillary Clinton. But as I traveled through the Northern and Midwestern parts of the United States, I was hard pressed to find evidence of that narrative. I was a frequent patron at local dive bars in my travels which proved to be the best opportunity to communicate with the locals.
What I discovered—especially during my time in Maine and Western Yew York—were merely patriotic Americans with a simple desire to work hard and live in a country that promotes wealth for all people regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation.
I didn’t find the racist gun tootin’ bigots that Rachel Maddow and the Mainstream Media described. Quite the contrary, actually. I also found an overwhelming amount of support for Donald Trump. The Mainstrean Media’s bias became increasingly evident. Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide, they said. I became very suspicious becuase I rarely came across a Hillary sign or someone claiming to be a supporter.
The truth is if you live in a major city like Los Angeles or New York City, you’re most likely out of touch my many Americans.
I started searching for more independent media sources. Media that’s not controlled by corporate interest who want to control public opinion. I trust independent media becuase their only agenda is to report the news. That’s it. It’s guided me closer to a truth. I took the red pill and my life is forever changed. I’ve become very passionate about helping others find this same revelation.
