Most Controversial Dem Gov Nominees
See former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s tweet states on 29 Aug 2018:
If FL voters were to elect Bernie-endorsed and Soros-funded Andrew Gillum as Governor FL could become Venezuela with theme parks and beaches! Uh, no thanks.
Although we are in the different political parties, I could not agree more than the Republican has already said very well! As always, I firmly consider myself as a conservative-to-centrist Democrat. I sometimes cross over my party to side with the Republican Party on a few main issues: crime; legal immigration; national security; mandatory voter ID. I remain siding with my own party on most issues: environment; climate change; energy; gun control; education; equality; civil rights; women’s reproductive rights; economy; affordable healthcare with more plan options; tax hikes on wealthy and big corporations only. I strongly oppose the disastrous “Medicare for All” or “single-payer” healthcare system due to numerous disadvantages (i.e. extremely-massive tax hikes; longer waiting times; limit to only one healthcare plan without any other option). I strongly support the affordable healthcare system that gives everyone a right with more options to choose the best healthcare insurance plan for self or his/her family.
Now, let’s talk about Florida gubernatorial race. Prior to the primary elections that were held on August 28th, I would prefer the conservative-to-moderate Democratic candidate such as former U.S. Representative Gwen Graham (a daughter of former U.S. Senator and Governor Bob Graham) and former Miami Beach mayor Philip Levine. Had I lived in Florida, I would vote for Gwen Graham in the primary election, like I voted for my then-endorsed candidate Stacey Evans in Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial primary election last May. On the Republican side, I would prefer Florida’s agriculture commissioner and former U.S. Representative Adam Putnam, the most moderate Republican who could work more bipartisanship with all parties as well. Like term-limited Governor Rick Scott who is a moderate Republican and has worked bipartisanship with all parties very well, I believe that Gwen Graham, Philip Levine or Adam Putnam should be the best-qualifed and perfect Governor for the Sunshine State because they are strongly bipartisan with all parties.
Somehow, unfortunately, I could not believe this! I was so shocked that both underdog candidates have defeated the heavily-favorite and strong-funded candidates in the respective primary elections. Florida is the only state that both Democratic and Republican nominees are extremely the most disappointment ever in the 2018 U.S. Gubernatorial races!
Far-Left Liberal Socialist Democrat vs. Far-Right Conservative Republican
Whew! Unbelievable! It is NOT very easy for many moderate Democrats and Republicans to decide who they should vote for in the general election. This must be the HARDEST ever for them to make the decision since neither nominee would be their preference or choice. Unlike bipartisan Governor Scott, both nominees are very partisan and don’t appear to be willing to work bipartisanship with all parties. Let me introduce Florida’s gubernatorial nominees in the general election to you.
- Democrat: Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum is the most far-left liberal socialist Democrat ever in Florida’s history! Yikes! He strongly supports the evil issues: Abolish ICE; illegal immigration; allowing non-citizens to register to vote; skyrocketing crimes; massive tax hikes; Medicare for All (single-payer) healthcare system; sex trafficking; communism. YUCK! He is the second WORST Democratic nominee ever behind California’s Lt Governor Gavin Newsom and ahead of my own state Georgia’s former State House minority leader Stacey Abrams in this year’s gubernatorial races. Had Gillum and Abrams faced each other in the head-to-head primary election, I would vote for Abrams over Gillum, citing Gillum’s stronger socialism and communism that are too dangerous for the American citizens. BEWARE, Gillum could be the most Governor disaster ever in Florida’s history, like evil communist Presidents in Cuba and Venezuela! Gillum’s socialism, especially massive tax hikes and implementation of the single-payer healthcare system, could cause disastrous bankruptcy. It is very SCARY to death! YIKES!
- Republican: U.S. Representative Ron DeSantis is the most right-wing conservative Republican ever in Florida’s history! Yikes! He has been endorsed by U.S. President Donald Trump since last January. I condemn Ron’s most recent racial comments toward his black opponent, Andrew Gillum, and call on him to apologize to the voters, public service and even Mayor Gillum. Ron’s politics are strongly conservative on immigration, crime, national security, military and veterans, gun rights, limited government, family values, pro life, and U.S. constitution. Unlike outgoing Governor Rick Scott and former primary challenger Adam Putnam who always put the legal citizens first in Florida, I’m deeply concerned that Ron has been out of touch with the people of Florida while serving in Washington, D.C. for almost six years. However, Ron is the only nominee who can keep the legal citizens and veterans safer. Despite my reservations, I would still plan to cross over my party to cast my vote for Ron DeSantis over Andrew Gillum in the general election, citing serious concerns on crime, immigration, national security and tax cuts. It applies to the same situation in my own state that I have no other choice to endorse and vote for Republican gubernatorial nominee Brian Kemp over my own party’s historically-most liberal nominee in the general election. Of course, I am so grateful that Brian is much more moderate than Ron is.
Speaking out as the conservative-to-moderate Democratic voter, the top five states in order that I am extremely very disappointing that the intra-party registered voters have elected the horrible and controversial nominees in the Democratic gubernatorial primary races for various reasons: (1) California; (2) Florida; (3) Georgia; (4) Wisconsin; (5) New Mexico.
- Gavin Newsom (California), Andrew Gillum (Florida) and Stacey Abrams (Georgia) are very weak on crime, immigration, national security, military and veterans. They always put the illegal immigrants first over the U.S. citizens and allow the non-citizens to register to vote. They strongly support the disastrous single-payer healthcare system, abolishing ICE, AND other communist-related issues. They would rather recklessly hike taxes on all working families regardless of their salaries. The massive tax hikes would cause all those states into disastrous bankruptcy! YUCK! NO Thanks to them! For your information, Gillum and Abrams are currently being investigated for their corruptions: Gillum’s campaign and his brother’s undercover with FBI; Abrams’ ethics and tax debts.
- Tony Evers (Wisconsin), a State Superintendent of Public Instruction, is the sickest sexual predator! He has recklessly neglected a several complaints against a teacher embarrassingly viewing porngraphy at school. He doesn’t care about those complaints and rather sides with the disgraceful teacher. SHAME on Tony Evers! He is very insane! I call on Evers to resign and withdraw his candidacy from this race immediately! Wisconsin must deserve a Governor with true integrity and decency. Evers is clearly UNFIT to serve in public office. NO Thanks to this insane pervert! Had I lived in the Badger State, I would cross over my party to vote for incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker against pervert and liar Tony Evers! PERIOD.
- U.S. Representative Michelle Lujan Grisham (New Mexico) is the most immature gubernatorial nominee ever. She puts herself and illegal immigrants first over the U.S. citizens. As she has been partying during her business trip that doesn’t mention on her social media account, she is not very serious on her campaign trail. She is very partisan within her own party. That is why a number of the Democrats, including former Governor Jerry Apodaca (1975–79), have endorsed her opponent, Republican nominee and U.S. Representative Steve Pearce, in the general election. Steve is more bipartisan and open-mind with all parties than Michelle is. Shame on Michelle!
Only when I firmly cannot in good conscience support my own party’s nominee for various reasons, I have no other choice to cross over my own Democratic Party to support and vote for the Republican nominee in the general election. That is how many conservative and/or centrist Democrats sometimes have no other choice but to cross over our party to support and vote for the Republican nominees. Same thing for the Republicans to cross over their party to support and vote for the Democratic nominees, depending on the issues they oppose with their own party’s nominee. That is why both Democratic and Republican Parties are NOT perfect, especially today’s era.
Always ensure that the nominee’s policies should come first that you can decide to vote for or against. Study both Democratic and Republican nominees’ agendas carefully before you choose one nominee and vote for this nominee in the general election. Good Luck!
