I put on some weight when I went on antidepressants. I went to SureSlim and was told my goal weight should be 65kg. I did not get anywhere near that and eventually gave up despite remarkable amounts of fat-shaming from the counsellor assigned to me, who kept accusing me of not sticking to the diet and guilt tripped me at great length with similar “concern” from the mysterious “doctor” behind the programme about my terrible fatness. I later went to a private nutritionist who actually used proper calipers to measure my body fat percentage, etc. Turns out my lean body mass is 64kg. If I’d reached my supposed goal weight or anywhere near it, I’d have been dead!
