How can a phone application help you live happier and healthier life?

A year ago, my best friend gave me a gift voucher for a massage. While enjoying my gift the masseur just told me “Your body is not happy, so I assume you are not happy either”… I must say I was a bit shocked to hear that statement, but it was the ugly truth. Anyway, I just asked him why he thinks so, and the answer was “Your body is stiff! Our bodies are created for movement, not for sitting down!” Agree? Disagree?

Just take a minute and give it a thought. The feeling we are experiencing are nothing more than a chemical reactions inside our bodies, meaning the hormones we are producing out of our actions. And science says that by exercising we produce two of the so called “happiness hormones” Serotonin and Endorphin. They regulate your mood, prevent depression and make you feel happy.

So it is totally up to you to decide whether you want to be happy or not, whether is going to be the sofa or the pair of running shoes?

Well, as you can guess I chose the running shoes, so I started exercising. To be honest, there were two things I hated about it at that time – doing it alone and caring a piece of paper to write down my progress. Luckily, NOT ANYMORE! Thanks to a friend in Facebook, I discovered Sports Tracker or as I like to call it the Happiness Application. You can use it for analysing your workouts, following your development, sharing photos and exercises with your friends. You can track your cycling, gym, swimming, etc. No limitations in your workouts. Sports don’t have to be boring anymore and all you need for that are your phone and a positive attitude to start.
