No wordplay, just facts

How many times you’ve heard someone saying: “Cryptocurrencies are a threat, used by criminals to launder money and dealers to sell drugs”?

It’s indeed a common belief. But, is it true?

If you are a blockchain expert who knows the technology in-depth, you probably already have the answer. Although, how many crypto-skeptics did you turn around with your technical claims? It’s a frustrating process, I know. I passed through it many times.

And, if you a “blockchain enthusiast”, maybe you don’t know yet how to explain your points.

Well, it’s not a big deal, if you can let them understand…

Just a realistic perspective on how to use better your daily energy

I know what you’re thinking: “another pretentious article about how cool minimalism is and how life is better with less”. Well, no. I’m not your average Karen.

Even though I got deep into minimalism for months now, I’m not going to tell you how you’re supposed to live your life to achieve the utmost fulfillment from it. I’m not going to convince you to adopt a one-size-fits-all lifestyle. Minimalism doesn’t come with a universal solution that fits everyone’s existence.

Some people consider it a sort of religion, in its most radical approach, maybe also because of the Netflix documentary, “Making…

How the USA, China and the European Union are struggling to be the first to master the crypto industry

Photo by Dim 7 on Unsplash

The approach to cryptocurrencies of the two giants of the world economy is at odds and will determine a single winner. But it may not be either if Europe plays its game well.

The crypto industry dramatically accelerated since June 18, 2019, when Facebook officially announced Libra. That day, a tsunami hit the world economy: it was an endless succession of statements by Governments, Regulatory Authorities and Central Banks.

Since that day, the most influential players in the world economy finally…

And why you should stop thinking that Coronavirus tracking-app is a conspiracy

More and more Countries are announcing they are going to track their citizens’ movements with an app, to combat the spread of Coronavirus. And, as was to be expected, conspiracy theories started to crawl out of the woodwork.

The main problem is a widespread ignorance of how intrusive technologies are already engaged with our daily life. We are led to conceive technology as a tool at our service, that offers us whatever we want, without asking anything in return. Yet, it’s a lesson that everyone learns early in…

Cryptocurrencies: no longer just a game for hackers

Cryptocurrencies are a burning issue today. It is not something that was born these days: they have existed for years and grow at an exponential speed, both in terms of quantity and complexity.

Today, thinking that cryptocurrencies are reduced to the single Bitcoin is a useless exercise as well as conceptually wrong. Although a growing awareness of the phenomenon is developing, since it’s an incredibly complex issue, those who talk about it often do not know which are the main issues that are emerging, both nationally and internationally.

Although I’m not sure where it will lead me

Photo by Ansgar Scheffold on Unsplash

All my life, I have striven to meet social expectations. Since I was a young girl, I’ve always been an “A” student. I graduated with the highest marks, getting my Master Degree of Law six months earlier than all my peers. I wanted to be a respected lawyer, and I’ve always had an idealistic (and unrealistic) view of my future.

I’ve always thought that if I had ever done my best, I would get everything I wanted, included a brilliant career as a lawyer.

But I wasn’t prepared for the unexpected

I was planning to publish on Medium for months now. I read hundreds of articles on there since 2017, finding a lot of inspiration for my job and my personal life. It’s a great platform, and I was impressed by all the exciting contents published on it.

I soon started a daily routine based on hitting my mornings with some easy posts, then something more topical in my lunch break and I voted most of my evenings to technical articles related to my…
