4 Thing Every Teenager Should Experience After School

Everyone, especially teenagers, should get some important life lessons as early as possible to adjust their life towards what’s really important. Realizing important things before heading to “real life”.
What experiences should an ordinary teenager have?
1. Losing a job
This, which may seem sad situation at the beginning, makes young people realize how bad it is to work under somebody else and working on somebody’s else dreams, not him/herself. For many people, I think it would be the life changing moment when you realize your dreams and goals aren’t being achieved working for someone’s else.
2. Having a setback
At first, having a setback in any project or at work seems so unfair and bad thing. But if you’re smart enough, you will soon realize that having a setback gives you many new solutions and ideas — you start thinking what went wrong, what can you do differently and so one. Learn from mistakes and setbacks!
3. Having almost no money
Having no money makes you think. You start thinking about future, about life, about new ideas how you should earn money. If you have no money, no job, and no plan B, you just got to hustle towards your dreams.
When you have a situation where you have no money and you are in a relationship, then it is a good place to see how strong your relations really are. Are you coming out together from this bottom? Or are you going to fight and separate from each other?
4. Something that put’s priorities in place
This goes for many teenagers. Actually, life priorities aren’t money, cars, partying, having “fun” friends etc.
Usually, people think about priorities after the same sad event or sometimes also after having a family and kid. Actual priorities are family, good relationships, quality time, happiness, enjoying every day, health. Life is meant to be enjoyed, but enjoying doesn’t mean you should party and drink all the time. Aside that, better just make a good evening with friends, talk about new ideas, have fun. Take life and time not granted and enjoy it.
These are the things that made me thinking about future in my teenage age. And these experiences mattered me a lot.
