As someone else mentioned, I’m also very glad you’re not my therapist. But more importantly, what the hell is wrong with you? I am so fed up with the all the negative and vile blows towards one another on this platform. It’s as though the Trump effect has bulldozed into people’s common sense and it’s frightening.

As women, I would expect us to stand up and rally together — to support one another and give a round of applause for someone brave enough to actually share her story. So maybe Amelie stayed in a terrible environment longer than she should have, but who are you to judge? Maybe she needed money for rent, food, booze… who cares. We’ve all been there. But to assume that she’s to blame for not leaving the toxic environment earlier is just plain bs.
