The legal system is incredibly multifaceted. There are so many variations of types of cases, whether they are involved in the public or private sector and whether you are on the side of the defense or the prosecution. When Mariah Dylla Gardiner decided to venture into the world of law, she began by working as a clerk for a judge. She then worked as an assistant district attorney. While both of these positions were in the public sector, they allowed her to see a wide variety of types of cases. Mariah Dylla Gardiner currently works in the private sector, but regularly uses the skills she developed during her time in the public sector in order to help her clients.


Over the course of her career, Mariah Dylla Gardiner has been a tireless advocate for her clients. She not only has tons of practical trial experience, but she has demonstrated an ability to thrive when faced with the most challenging cases and issues. Mariah uses her skills to bring the highest level of diligence to every case, and her ability to analyze every aspect of every case brings the best results possible for her clients. Her ability to apply a creative approach to every case means she is capable of dealing with any situation.


At the heart of everything in her life and career lies Mariah Dylla Gardiner’s belief in education. She draws upon all of that education whenever she can. Even when she was still in high school, Mariah published an article for the prestigious Concord Review entitled “Criminal Justice.” She then earned an undergraduate degree in French from Portland State University cum laude and subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from the S.J. Quinney College of Law from the University of Utah. While there, she also received the Frankel Public Interest Fellowship.


In legal terms, the prosecution and the defence are two sides of the same coin. They both have goals to achieve within their cases as well as measures they need to take in order to be successful. Mariah Dylla Gardiner has worked hard to understand both of these sides. She has worked as an assistant district attorney which allowed her to prosecute many different types of cases as well as worked as a for a public defender. These two experiences have helped make Mariah Dylla Gardiner a better attorney. She also has had experience in trial cases making her even more well rounded.
