- String theory is a theory that describes the motion of something through space time.
one dimensional entity: something with only one dimension; unlike on earth where we live in a three dimensional environment.
space time: a fourth dimension continuum.
2. String theory describes how the the tiny particles which make up atoms and objects are made up of string like vibrating energy. Different vibrations make up different particles.
