The Myth of the Starving Artist and Other Misconceptions about Creativity

I’m a Tribe Writer and old enough to be your mom’s older sister! I have been free lance writing for others for the last 25 years. I finally gave it up to become a novelist. For the last two years, I’ve been sending out agent queries and waiting for someone to choose my work to publish. Your course has taught me to regard my novel as a product with a target audience. I’m no longer waiting for some anonymous agent to pull my query out of the slush pile; I’m on my way to becoming my own publisher with my own audience. You are clearly a visionary entrepreneur. Bravo!
