I completely agree with this! So many people who struggle with eating disorders don’t fit the perfect criteria of anorexic or bulimic. Especially in today’s society with the huge focus on healthy/clean eating and exercise, so many people are taking that to the extreme and developing an eating disorder that involves NO vomiting or active starvation! I always really agree that food and exercise should not be so inextricably linked that one always has to equal the other. That used my relationship with eating and working out and it took a lot of time and work to undo those patterned ways of thinking about food and exercise. Thanks for the post!
