Lo Zio : the street-food Italian style
At Lo Zio la “Piadina”, the typical Italian wheat flour cake made from the Emilia Romagna region, converts itself into a “trendy walking tidbit”.
At its second location, Passage des Panoramas in second arrondissement of Paris , the piadina becomes the uncontested star of the spot, paying a large tribute to the women of the “famiglia” : Giulia unveils all the flavors of the delicatessens of The Bel Paese, with its thinly sliced speck and pancetta and a touch of squacquerone (a creamy cheese); Alessia, with buffalo mozzarella, eggplant, tomatoes and arugula, has a reminiscence of Italy warmth glow, while Petra, with its spicy sausage, unfold the passionate Italian side.
Along with a glass of Montepulciano, with black cherries and blackberries notes or of a Primitivo di San Marzano, a Zio slice of cheesecake or homemade tiramisu, the transalpine sun and glow will show up in your plate.
Piadina, but not only … At the “uncle” you can also enjoy excellent Sicilian arancini and a mozzarella di bufala camembert, tasted anywhere else, a true delight!
