Here’s What That Post About Taking a Train Across the USA for $213 Doesn’t Tell You
Eric Fadden

You think this is bad, try having to go across country on a bus in the middle of winter for four days. The only way I had to wash us was when my bus stopped at Utah and I went to the bathroom to take a bird bath. Good thing I packed a wash cloth. As for the scenery, it beats looking at what the slobs left behind. But I am with you on one criteria, if they are going to make it a four day trip they better put a shower in there and dump off the garbage with each stop. Come to think of it, those road trips in the back of my Dad’s station wagon don’t look so bad now. Yes, we did make stops (frequently whenever we asked, “Are we there yet?”) Mom made us clean up after ourselves, and it didn’t matter what time we got there Grandma was waiting for us. That beat whatever trouble we went through.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
