Friends have the conversation, whatever it is, you put yourself right in it, and if it makes you feel uncomfortable, there’s a reason and it’s a huge opportunity for learning and growth. Not hearing your thoughts and feelings on race (or anything for that matter) negates your PRESENCE, your right as an individual to voice thoughts, grievances, anything on your mind….thats what friends DO… they’re there for each other… especially when it’s prickly……
