A little more than a month, the start-up with Russian-Estonian roots lasted on the exclusively Russian market. The plug-in, which allows making purchases on Amazon and eBay for cryptocurrency, enters the markets of Europe and the USA by the end of the calendar year.

In September 2018, the development team from Russia and Estonia launched a service for buying goods on Amazon and eBay for cryptocurrency — coin2.shop (and here’s the story about it at #RBC):

In order to buy goods from online retailers, it is enough to take a simple action: install the plugin in the browser and click the “Buy with Coin2Shop” button. The second option: the user paste link to the goods into a special window inside his personal account and then acts according to the familiar site scenario.

The plugin supports all existing browsers. You can pay for purchases with BTC or Ethereum. By the end of the year, the team promises to expand the list to 5 popular cryptocurrencies and enter the markets of Europe, the USA and Asia.

Why so fast? The Russian cryptocurrency market is currently speculative.

Spending crypto-money on purchases (in the legal field) currency holder in the Russian Federation is not ready and probably will not be ready for several more years, unlike the Chinese one. And despite the fact that legislative initiatives in the Russian Federation are trying to resolve both (hi, rabid printer), and to draw attention to the field for the second year in a row, globally, this affects the behavior of the target audience, a little more than nothing.

But we will follow the news.
