So what is the ‘Myth of Creative Genius’ stated in the title exactly? Is Wilson any less of a ‘creative genius’ because he copied Berry early on? Does that act of plagiarism invalidate Wilson’s later output, Pet Sounds, Good Vibrations, etc.? Where’s the ‘myth’? Or is the title simply the product of hapless sub-editing?
