I tell him how I think about that time in history, when there were women who cared for the temples and received travelers, offering them shelter and comfort and even sex. And how I thought that was cool, and I would have liked to be one of those women. I keep caring for people with sex. Or wanting to connect through sex. And how when I was young and lived on the East Coast I had a lot of sex trying to prove that I could do it just as easily and carelessly as men. But it doesn’t work that way. If there’s a statement in it, no one cares. The guys just think, Cool, sex.
…happily married. He is a good husband, a good father. These make him all the more attractive to me. He knows how to love a woman, how to nurture and love a child. He knows how to care for and protect and be concerned for the well-being of women and children. He is good at that. And he is skillful in his communication and his love. He has had years of practice.
