What does It have to do Kobe Bryant with becoming a good speaker?

From his beginnings in high school until April 13th, 2016 in which he played his last game, basketball legend Kobe Bryant became an unquestionable representation of what it is to have a strong work ethic.

-Former NBA coach Byron Scott found an 18-year-old Bryant shooting in a dark gym two hours before practice and he said, ‘This kid is gonna be great.’”

-Kobe was always the first player in the gym, even when he was hurt.

-He went through super intense workouts on game days.

And he got incredible results:

● Rookie of the year,

● 2 Times top scorer of the season

● 7 Times MVP

● 18 Times All-Star player

● Slam dunk Winner

● 5 NBA rings

And still, he kept practicing, practicing and practicing. But did he do it because this is what the elite of sport is supposed to do?

-No.

In fact, this regular focus on practice, practice and practice is what takes professionals sportsmen to become part of the elite, and for Kobe, to become a legend.

And great speakers do it as well. They practice, practice and practice. But, how to find time in such a tight agenda you have?

Last minute appointments, rescheduled deadlines, unplanned trips and… life’s setbacks. It seems like impossible mission, isn’t it?

And that’s not all. I have even more baaad news!

Yes, bad news. Because there are many, many speakers out there.

But good news, because the majority of them are bad. They fail to communicate effectively, wasting effort, time and money.

Good news, because you don’t need to become a legend to excel. It only takes a little practice. Practice regularly.

Learn something and practice it. Then learn something else and practice it once more.

Practice regularly and in a short period of time you will stand out with great differences above others.

Practice in a friendly and supportive environment. A place that will boost your results as you could never imagine. Practice in the best training field you can get, a Toastmaster Club.

Look for the nearest you and practice, practice and practice.

-I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success. Great things come from hard work and perseverance.

No excuses.
