sorry if my rough English could be misunderstanded. I never tried to “compare” terrorist attacks to Elections 2016, that is just absurd, like comparing cabbages and kings… I said only that, personally, these elections scared me much more than the terrorist attacks. This is a subjective and personal feeling, and not an objective fact.
So said, I confirm it. Why these elections are scaring me even more than any terrorism (of course, this is a deliberate paradox, but it’s also true)?
1st: Terrorists are evident and open ENEMIES, enemies of our democracy, and they openly aspire to a society based on misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, racism, violence, bigotry, intolerance, hatred and fear, against all our basic civil and human values.
On the other hand, this man has been elected DEMOCRATICALLY by a Great Country, which is our friend, model and ally. AND he talks and acts exactly on the SAME ideology of those enemies: misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, racism, violence, bigotry, intolerance, hatred, fear…
2nd: now he is the commander in chief of the most powerful military agency in the world (Even if he never served his Country in the Army, he was more interested to Armani suits), thousands times more dangerous and lethal than all the terrorism of the world. I personally would have not granted to such a person even a licence to drive a taxi, let alone to put under his fingers the launch button of 7700 nuclear warheads!
Thank you anyway for your comment, placed in civil, polite and reasonable way.
