It’s true, quitting shouldn’t be taken lightly. I’ve found the key is to really check yourself first. Be crystal clear on the position you want next, how you can get there, and what it will truly cost you. It’s counter-intuitive, but if your ultimate goal is to improve your situation, quitting will likely add more work to your plate in new and unexpected ways. Never say never, it’s not impossible, but it’s important to know the work never ends.
