Adding Links to Topics

You can add links to topics in Ping.it in the manage tab of a topic page. Links added to a topic should be to pages about the topic like the Wikipedia article or Twitter account of a person.

Try not to use secondary sources that aggregate information from other sites or doesn't appear to be an authority as a source.

Here’s some useful places to find links for topics:

• Wikipedia: for most topics and for any type of topic.
• Quora: for most topics and has often the same name as Wikipedia pages.
• Twitter: for people, business and brand topics.
• Facebook: for people, business and brand topics. There are pages for other topic types as well but in general not of good quality.
• IMDb: for movies, TV shows, actors and other people in the entertainment business.
• MusicBrainz: great place for finding links to other places for anything related to music like artists, labels and so on.
