Google Analytics and User Testing Alexa Skill

Adding Google Analytics to my Alexa Skill allows me to track user Intents, possible errors associated with those Intents, as well as when a user begins and completes the Skill.

I attempted User Testing with echosim.io though it currently does not work well with skills that require back and forth interaction with the user. I ended up typing what the tester said into the Alexa’s Developer Console and that worked fine. From testing I learned how I needed to change some of the instructions and the wording during the evaluation phase of my Big Five Personality Quiz. Much better user experience thanks to testing.

Soon the Big Five OCEAN Personality Quiz will be ready for publishing…
