Hi, I’m a Redux maintainer. I absolutely agree that people should learn React first, and that they shouldn’t try to learn Redux right away. I also agree that Redux isn’t _needed_ for many situations. However, I’d also say that there _are_ plenty of good reasons to use Redux in a React app. I co-wrote an article that discusses some of the reasons to use Redux with React , and the Redux FAQ also discusses “when to use Redux”.
Out of curiosity, what pain points have you seen with people trying to learn Redux, both for yourself and for others? You said “people glance at redux and do a WTF at the docs.” Do you have specific issues or concerns with the docs, or was that more of a general statement? Any suggestions or ideas for improving the docs and the learning experience?
