The #1 Mindset AND #1 Character Attributes To Be a Successful Entrepreneur

As anyone who is successful will tell you … success is 80% mindset and 20% actually doing the work. So let’s name a few attributes to give an example of what I am talking about with mindset: tenacious, driven, confident, optimistic, passionate, persistent … just to name a few. They are all good and important, but what single attribute has the most impact (positive and negative) in determining how successful an entrepreneur will be? …. SELF-AWARENESS
Knowing one’s own strengths and weaknesses will have far more impact on the long-term success for an individual driven to be an entrepreneur. By that person concentrating their time and effort on their strengths and finding others to overcome their own weaknesses, one will have the best chance of being successful long-term. Too many entrepreneurs fool themselves into thinking they can do it all. This leads to them wasting time and energy on tasks they are either not good at or they find themselves procrastinating on things they have no business doing. You should honor your strengths and delegate your weaknesses. The sooner you do that, the faster you and your companies will grow and flourish.
Let’s talk character attributes … What #1 character attribute would you say is the most important for long-term success as an entrepreneur. Most would say hustle as without it you’ll never get anywhere or always trying to “catch up”. It is important as many times it is what separates many top-level entrepreneurs from the rest. The one thing that I would deem the most important though is RESOURCEFULNESS …. doing what it takes to Make. It. Happen. as Gary Vaynerchuk (#ASKGARYVEE) has mentioned many times. As Tony Robbins has mentioned as well … failure has nothing to do with not having enough time, enough money, not having the right skills, not having the right people around you … resources are never the problem. It is the lack of resourcefulness that is the main cause of failure.
Are you self-aware? Are you resourceful?
