Job Instruction Sessions Index
Listing of the posts for each of the segments
I am reposting this series of Job Instruction Training articles on LinkedIn to restore the free access for people wanting to learn more about Job Instruction and how to deliver the materials.
This is a series of 39 articles is designed to help people deliver Job Instruction training that was originally posted on the “Medium” platform in 2017. Unfortunately, the content was later moved behind a paywall that limited people to view only 3 articles a month for free.
Each post is a segment as outlines in the delivery manual. In addition, the content and hints from the Trainer's Guide have been added to facilitate your learning the materials to be better able to deliver the materials professionally.
It is suggested that you learn the materials sequentially by practice before you attempt to coach a group. While the ideal group size in traditional training was set at eight participants, England did an experimental version for 2–3 supervisors in an effort to make the program available to the smaller businesses. The content and time was the same, with the difference of the number of practice sessions the individual supervisors were able to complete. The smaller companies were less likely to have meeting rooms, so much of the practice took place on the work floor.
