I'm Mark, and welcome to my blog!

The reason I've created this blog can be explained in a brief story. When I was younger, I had a small, undecorated blue notebook that I kept stashed away behind a pile of hand-me-down clothes in my closet. The blue book mostly just lay idle, but, on special occassions, I would dig it out and start writing. I vividly remember staying up late, burrowed underneath a tiny fortress of pillows, pouring out my thoughts within its pages. Unfortunately, in the chaos of growing up, I lost track of my little blue companion. Now, I would love to be able to leaf through its pages, and be reintroduced to my childhood self.

This blog is meant to serve a similar purpose as that notebook. Instead of my childhood thoughts, however, these posts will be filled with dialogue about my greatest passions: technology, education, behavioral economics, philosophy, and cosmology. By publishing this blog on the internet, I'm hoping to create a permanent archive of my thoughts. And, instead of keeping them hidden away, I'd like to share them with you.

Thanks for reading!
