I have a cheap eBay 720nm filter (didn’t want to spend the big $ unless I was confident that it would work..) and simply am unable to get anything like a decent result from the D7200.

I have set the white balance to ‘pre’ and used a very green leaf as the white balance subject on a bright sunny day.

The image is as expected really red, but when I swap red & blue channels all I end up with is the same photo but in blue — the foliage does NOT go anything near white, or even pale. (I am shooting fine jpg and using GIMP2 to edit)

Just out of curiosity, I decided to see if the sensor ‘sees’ the IR from my camera remote — and in a dark room, nothing at all.

So from what I am imagining here is that the Australian version D7200 is not suited to IR photography…would this be a correct assumption?
