This is written from a perspective I had not thought about, which I enjoy. I agree that society places such an emphasis on women being in the home with no other place, and even grooming girls from a young age to only care about what boys think of them, and to remain in the home to cook and clean. Additionally, the idea of Symbolic Internationalism resonates especially in this time as norms are constantly evolving. As society continually changes its views, I feel we are moving toward a positive end goal, though we are far from perfect. What do you think?
