Agreed, Jorge. Musk always thinks at scale. None of his companies has been a niche firm. It just appears so at first glance. Because he understands (or works diligently at) the market entry.
Then expands virally until he dominates the new industry he’s created.
I was recently asked to fund a Texas-based electric supercar startup. The numbers kind of work. But seeing Tesla’s already advanced infrastructure (from superchargers to wireless updates to future hype) keeps my wallet firmly tucked in my pocket.
