We all knew that Kyrie Irving was going to get dealt sooner rather than later seeing as how he requested a trade weeks ago and allegedly hates LeBron James, but this? THIS? The NBA never fails, it’s so dramatic it is absurd.

I mean, come on. This is getting out of hand, in a good way of course.

Never in 1,000,000,000,000,000 years did I, or probably anyone else, think that Irving was going to be dealt to an Eastern Conference team let alone the Celtics, especially for Isaiah Thomas and other pieces.

This is the ideal trade for pretty much any real NBA fan. Now we have LeBron playing with Thomas which could make one of the more electric duos the game has ever seen and Irving playing alongside Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart and company.

This is a win-win for both teams, there is no way around that. Things could’ve turned very dark for LeBron and the Cavs, but with Thomas there now things are looking oh-so-bright. And in Boston you now how Kyrie. You can’t make this stuff up. The NBA has done did it again.

Oh and guess what, these teams open up against one another this season. Book your calendars, October 17 is going to be a wild, wild day.
