Catholic Dad: A Start

If there was ever a time to re-evaluate one’s vocation for politics, then 2016 was certainly the time.

With all the bad going on this cycle, I really needed an outlet outside of my work life and so have decided to start writing occasionally on the joys and challenges of raising a catholic family in today’s age. (Though could be worse, my ancestors were once being killed for having a rosary or attending a mass.) [See Penal Laws]

I have two major topics I suspect I will write about: what I am learning trying to teach my kids about the faith and how we try to find ways to live out our faith as a family, and second, separately, some attempts to explain some of the oddities of the Catholic life to my evangelical friends. I spent much of my early life as an evangelical and so I will try to translate from one tradition to the other.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
