I don't blog, at least I didn't.

So, I finally have a germ of an idea for a short blog piece.

This idea will constitute not only my first ever Medium post but also the first time I've ever posted what could be described as a “blog”. Ok, so it'll be the second after this, which I'm not counting!

I was introduced to Medium, as I’ve been introduced to many great new things on the Interwebs, by @petec , so thanks Pete whether you realised it or not. I've enjoyed the posts I've read over the last month or so and it’s made me realise that blogging isn't akin to writing papers for journals or vast social pieces. I've gained as much knowledge and insight in the blogs of people with thoughts on jean washing and hair shaving as I have people with thoughts on Agile methodologies and team management.

I've never blogged as I've never thought I had anything interesting to say, maybe I don't, maybe doing one will lead to more, let’s see …
