I used to write about music, but I don’t much anymore. I feel like there’s not much point to it. There’s still some utility in making an argument for someone’s time and attention when it comes to a book or a movie or a video game, but why tell someone what records they should listen to when it is utterly frictionless at all times and in all places to summon songs up through one’s devices and listen on their own?
