Project DELTA visited Asia-Pacific Telecommunity in Bangkok, Thailand.
Last Tuesday, Project DELTA CMO, and CSO traveled to Southeast Asia to meet up with leading academic and governmental institutions and discuss Project DELTA plans for social benefit.
Their first stop was Bangkok Thailand, where they held a meeting with APT (Asia-Pacific Telecommunity) representatives. Established in 1979, APT is an intergovernmental organization that operates together with telecom service providers, manufacturers of communication equipment, and research and development in the field of information and innovation technologies. During their meeting, Project DELTA and APT talked about various ways to cooperate and committed to finding a way to benefit both parties.
One of the agreements they reached was the possibility for APT to become a content knowledge partner. APT could provide high-quality content to DELTA’s Knowledge Hub such as data proceeding from ICT reports and other knowledge resources, while Project DELTA could facilitate this information to the public through user-data mapping.
Secondly, close cooperation between both parties in the blockchain industry was proposed. APT stated that many government departments in the region had an interest in fostering blockchain training activities such as regular workshops and conferences. Project DELTA agreed to assist with this matter along with other blockchain experts.
Finally, they discussed a mutual collaboration in the Asia Pacific region. APT, as well as Project DELTA, intends to implement a supporting program for Asian developing countries. Project DELTA will set up Knowledge Hubs in different languages, and APT will provide and assist in building standardized structured data to feed the hubs.
Both parties consider these proposals would have a positive outcome for the Asia Pacific region and hope to develop these ideas further.

프로젝트 델타팀이 태국 방콕에 있는 APT(아시아 태평양 전기통신 협의체)에 방문을 하였습니다 !
이번 APT 방문에서는 프로젝트 델타와 APT가 같이 협력할 수 있는 사항에 대해 심도 있는 논의가 이루어졌으며 앞으로도 지속적인 협력 방안에 대해서 이야기해나가기로 했습니다.
첫째, 프로젝트 델타의 컨텐트 관련 지식파트너로써의 협력 방안을 논의 하였습니다. APT는 쌓여있는 아시아 태평양 국가의 정보통신 관련 리포트와 지식자료들을 델타의 지식허브에 양질의 컨텐트를 제공하고, 델타는 그 컨텐트를 지식허브 내에서 사용자들과의 데이터 매핑을 통해 일반인들의 접근성을 향상시켜 주는 방안에 대해서 논의 되었습니다. 이 부분은 양쪽 모두 긍정적인 효과를 얻을 수 있으며, 이러한 협력에 대해 큰 관심과 필요성을 느끼고 있었습니다. 이 부분에 대해서 앞으로 조금 더 구체적인 협력 방안을 정리해서 추후 더 심도 있는 논의를 계획하고 있습니다.
둘째, APT와 프로젝트 델타의 블록체인 산업의 협력 방안을 논의 하였습니다. APT는 아시아 태평양 국가의 정부 부처에, 블록체인에 관한 정기적인 컨퍼런스나 워크샵을 통해 교육 및 계몽 활동을 하고 싶다는 의견을 발의했습니다. 그에 대한 해결책으로 APT와 프로젝트 델타는 함께 블록체인 기업들을 초대하여 지속적인 컨퍼런스를 개최하는 방안에 대하여 검토를 해보기로 하였습니다.
셋째, APT와 프로젝트 델타는 아시아 태평양 지역에서의 협력 방안을 논의 하였습니다. APT는 프로젝트 델타와 아시아 지역 개발 도상국 대상으로 시범사업에 지원하는 프로그램에서의 협력을 통해 델타는 개발도상국에서의 지식허브 구축에 박차를 가하고, APT는 그를 통해 정형화된 데이터 구축 할 수 있는 방안을 이야기했습니다.
