Overview
The NUS Medicine Virtual Walk & Run 2022 celebrates the faculty’s 117th anniversary while encouraging participants to lead an active lifestyle. This event is the second rendition of the Virtual Walk & Run.
Participants joined the highly flexible and accessible event for all from any location they chose and anytime they saw fit! The virtual event allowed participants to walk or run the distance of their choice. Participants could also choose to complete the distance in one go or over several sessions.
What have we achieved?
Almost 2,000 participants joined in on the celebration.
How does this work?
- Flexibility and Accessibility: By hosting the event virtually, it provided flexibility to students, alumni, and the public to participate and engage with the event at their own convenience
- Engaging and Rewarding: The event’s 5-milestone path and e-badge system made it more engaging for the participants. Each e-badge lighting up at each milestone provided a sense of accomplishment and motivation for the participants to complete the next milestone.
- Exclusive Merchandise and Prizes: Offering exclusive event merchandise and prizes created a sense of exclusivity and added value for the participants. It incentivized them to participate and engage with the event’s content.
