Patrachar Vidyalaya a new Schooling option

Education to Students is given in different methods. If we look into the history of India, great Scholars educated the Students, staying in forests and doing “Thapas” (Penance towards God). Disciples from various places swarmed to the Ashrams where these Gurus lived, to learn Education and various Arts.
“School” is called “Gurukul.” Even in Independent India, there was a Scholar who showed that this Vedic Period Method of teaching could be carried out in Modern India too. He is Rabindra nath Tagore, Bengali, by birth, possessed multiple talents at the same time a Poet, Writer, Artists, and Philosopher.
He dreamed of India to wake up to the realities of modern times and should change the methods of teaching outside Regular Schools. He advised, “Do not limit a child to your learning for he was born in another time.” It means the methods of teaching should change according to the needs of the students concerned.

Government Steps for Education to all

The Indian Government is aware of this advice by Scholars like Rabindra nath Tagore. So it changed the methods of teaching, so that every student in the country gets unlimited Education, as they like.
The Regular Schools already in existence have some restrictions due to their Rules and Procedures. At the High School level, the Rules prevented School Students who did not pass the lower Classes to study in 10th or 12th Standard, Secondary and Higher Secondary Courses.
So these unfortunate Students, who falter in lower Classes or unable to go to Regular Schools, are left in the lurch. In order to provide enough opportunity even for these unlucky Students, the Government devised the Plan, namely Patrachar Vidyalaya. It is an alternative way for school failure and dropout students. Here the students can apply for Direct Admission in class 10th or class 12th CBSE board Subject to some eligibility conditions with CBSE Patrachar.

Special features of Patrachar Vidyalaya

Firstly these Patrachar Vidyalaya Schools are formed in and around Delhi only. They are governed by the Delhi Government and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They conduct Secondary and Higher Secondary Courses — 10th Standard and 12th Standard — according to CBSE Syllabus.

Similarly, Direct Admission to 12th Standard is offered, for those who did not pass 11th Standard and passed only 10th Standard.
