i don’t think those terrorists can even afford to use transponders or even get access to internet, they’re basically trapped in the middle of nowhere and can barely get food supplies, the U.S. did conduct reconnaissance missions over the mountains of Kasserine Gov. last year using Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircrafts based in Pantelleria, 60km off Tunisia’s shores, and the results were astonishing. Tunisia’s main weaknesses reside in its intelligence agencies which were completely destroyed post-revolution and it’s being repaired with strong help from the U.S., That said it’s highly unlikely that the U.S. is flying reconnaissance missions without Tunisian authorization.
