Longshoremen and truckers? It would be my guess that you don’t know many of either but particularly in the case of Longshoremen they tend to work on docks, that tend to be in the very blue parts of the country. Truckers come from every part of the country, and most frequently work in areas of high population density (ie the blue Urban bit), even the long haul guys are hauling between population centres. Have you noticed anything about the longshoremen and the trucker populations recently, they are not the monochrome whiteness that they once were, many immigrants work in both professions. Like the rest of this article I suspect the level of bollocks is proportional to your lack of understanding, r/the_donald is not that popular even on Reddit, there will be a rump of about 20 to 30 percent of the population who still support Trump the day he is impeached, the same was true for Nixon.

They may protest, they could even get violent, but the one thing you can be sure about is that they will not stop the impeachment.
