I would argue it is not ‘on the opposite side of fear’ but right along side fear. Healthy fear, and ‘control of unhealthy fear’ are essential ingredients in stability — the foundation of doing, daring and caring. If we want a full life it MUST involve embracing our fears, confronting our fears and stepping through that fear barrier. Not to discount realities, but to learn things we fear are mostly ‘things we haven’t tried’ or dealt with. When we deal with them they suddenly reduce in size, evaporate — or at least become manageable. Confront FUD — fear, uncertainty and doubt!
