nice piece Liz — but why focus so much on what the piece might be, or for whom it might be beautiful? Write for you, from you. Your words, your meaning. Your feelings, your insight, your ‘take’ on things. Write for you. Open up YOU and the world will beat a path to YOUR door. Give what you give and you’ll be amazed how much you get — worry about what you digging up, digging out-of YOU, and that will be so compelling to readers. Or not. Doesn’t matter. Write for you. Always for you. Of you and from you. Your fans will follow. And even if your fans are few and far between, you won’t lose you and you won’t lose your way that way
