A Basic Start-up Guide For Fewcha Wallet Account Set-up & Browser Plugin Installation

Install the Fewcha Wallet browser plugin in your Google Chrome browser

Step 1 — Visit the Fewcha Wallet website and click on the “Get Extension” icon.

Step 2 — You will be redirected to a new page or a new tab will open up with a link to download and integrate the plugin into your browser. On this page, click on the “Add to Chrome” icon to install the plugin into your browser.

Step 3 — Once the plugin integration to your browser is complete, you can find the Fewcha wallet browser plugin in the top right corner of your browser.

How to create a new Fewcha Wallet account

Step 1 — To create a new wallet or login into an existing wallet, click on the “Fewcha Wallet Plugin” in the top right corner of your browser. This will open up the Fewcha wallet page, Click on the “create a new wallet” option to create a new wallet from scratch or click on the “use an existing wallet” to sign into your existing wallet.

Step 2 — For those creating a new wallet, please choose the “Aptos Blockchain” option from the list of blockchains displayed and enter your desired password and select “Continue”.

Step 3.1 — Please note down the recovery phrase (seed phrase) displayed on your screen and select “Continue”.

Step 3.2 — In the next window, confirm your recovery phrase as requested, select “Continue” and your wallet is created. Click on the “Finish” icon. You can now access your wallet directly from the plugin displayed in the top right corner of your browser.

How to add Testnet tokens to your wallet

Step 1 — Login to your Fewcha Wallet account using the browser plugin.

Step 2 — Select the “Setting” option at the bottom taskbar in your wallet and choose the “Network” option. In the list of networks displayed, choose the “Testnet-Aptos” option and choose the “Home” option displayed in the bottom taskbar of your wallet.

Step 3 — In your wallet home screen, you will now see the “Faucet” icon. Please note that the “Faucet” option will only be available after the network has been switched to “Testnet” and is not visible in the “Mainnet” network. Click on the “Faucet” icon to add Aptos testnet-tokens to your wallet. You will now be redirected to the Aptos-testnet webpage.

Step 5 — In the Aptos-testnet webpage, click on the “Connect Wallet” icon and choose “Fewcha Wallet” from the list of supported wallets displayed.

Step 6 — Your wallet will show you a disclaimer and a list of available features. Click on the “Connect” icon at the bottom and then choose the “Sign” option. You will be redirected to the Aptos-Testnet page with an “Activate Faucet” icon.

Step 7 — Click on the activate icon and finish the captcha, your wallet will then be credited with a few Aptos Testnet tokens.

You can now use these tokens to make transactions across different wallets and DeFi/dApp platforms. These tokens can be used to participate in Kana Labs X Fewcha Wallet — Swap to Airdrop giveaway contest. If the tokens in your wallet are spent and you need a refill of Testnet tokens, please click on the “Faucet” icon in your wallet and repeat steps 5–7 to get new tokens in your wallet.
