Hi Conor. Thanks for hitting the three things that cause people not to hit the publish button on Medium, including me.

I don’t usually have writer's block, but the other two hit a sweet spot inside of me.

I have never been an eloquent writer as some are. I am more of a writer who writes like I speak and sometimes with the east coast accent I still have.

Of course, this isn’t an excuse for grammar or spelling as much as an excuse for not publishing.

When I do publish I wait for the results which is like waiting for a pot to boil. It isn’t good for the ego.

So now what I have done has been to make a point of commenting more than writing a post. I still post here and there, but commenting gives me a feeling of ease.

I’m not as concerned on the story as much as responding to someones post. I feel the expectations aren’t as bold.

I could totally be wrong about this, but by commenting I have found that it makes it easier to hit the publish button when I do post something I feel is good.
