It’s All Mishegoss — Thursday #121

Hello Thursday!

We were talking with a friend yesterday about business and being an entrepreneur in today’s world. What was interesting is how most young adults today read, listen, and follow blogs and podcasts that offer the next best thing to be successful?

We’re talking about podcasters and writers who use title like “8 Things Richard Branson Does Before 6 AM” or “12 Steps to Better Social Media Success.” We believe you know what we are writing about, right?

Here’s the thing we explained to our friend yesterday. It takes one word to be successful now as in the past. It isn’t about five, six, ten, or more steps to be successful. It’s about one. You read that right 1.

It’s puddingcalled motivation. Motivation to get up and go. If you want to use 10 steps to be a social media superstar you better start with one step first. Motivation! Simple and to the point. Without that the other steps are worthless. Sorry to put a damper on all the motivational speakers, writers, and podcasters out there, but the truth is in the pudding. It takes that one word, Motivaiton, made up of 10 letters or even shorter Motivate, 8 letters. Which one works for you?

We’re not experts. We’ve just been doing this for a long time and every time we review what we have accomplished or haven’t accomplished the same word pops up, motivation. Amazing isn’t it?

Give it a shot. It won’t hurt, promise!

Now the newsletter.

As always we found stories that are in the headlines, but overshadowed by politics and the individuals involved in that scene. We stay from that as you know. Not that we don’t feel you should read it, but everyone else is covering that scene so we are working on the other scenes that should be highlighted.

Your thoughts on our mission would be appreciated. Just click the little thumb up or down and let us know what you’re thinking.

Ciao,

Mark & Patti
